The Music Freak interviews Will and The People

Mr Sketchy, the second single taken from the forthcoming summer album (July 2010), exposes a more retro influenced side to the hyper pop indie sound that Will And The People have become loved for. InWill’s words ‘It’s about that feeling when you are unsettled and anxious without any of your own space... In that situation I always find myself walking around full of self awareness, self consciousness, and paranoia...’

Contradicted with an uplifting melody this track has become a crowd favourite at recent live shows across Europe and is a great example of the trademark instant accessibility that we see over and over again in Will Rendle’s song writing.

For the club lovers amongst us K.E.O and Rallentando bring a twisted remix of Mr Sketchy to the table, sounding like the unforgiving lovechild of Justice and Does It Offend You Yeah?! Early reactions have been gig with Glastonbury, Beach Break Live & Secret Garden Party already they’re all over the soundtrack to this years summer season.
